It is best to contact us for everything from site analysis and planning to turn key construction. This insures a seamless transition through all of the phases of design/ build. However, we also do build from plans completed by other design professionals.
Analysis & Planning
Building Design
By using our computer aided design system we are able to create 3D views and even walk throughs of a design. This visualization tool is invaluable for our clients in that it offers a clearer understanding of what the house will “feel” like when completed. Once the design is approved by the client, working drawings are then completed for submittal to the building department.
Site Development
Certainly the site will have to be disturbed for construction, however, we always try to minimize the land disturbance. Lots of our projects have been located on sloping or otherwise sensitive sites. We use very experienced excavating subcontractors to quickly and efficiently handle any site with as little impact as possible.
Construction
Bunnell Co. homes are well built by our own craftsmen and quality subcontractors. Our own crews will generally take on the foundation, framing, siding, decking, and interior trim. Our subcontractor’s typically will handle the plumbing, electrical, heating and air, insulation, drywall, roofing, cabinetry and countertops, painting and floor coverings.
We also work with those clients that prefer to be their own “General Contractor” and hire their own subcontractors or do some of the work themselves.
ICF Specialty Services
Bunnell Co. is very experienced with the use of insulating concrete forms and have developed details and methods to streamline ICF construction. We are master installers of the Amvic ICF building system as well as certified installers of the Epro ICF waterproofing system.
Our ICF services:
-Complete construction of your ICF project
From “turn key” to a shell only we can do it all. Including foundations, interior walls, floors, decks, roofs etc.
-ICF only subcontractor
Our crews can come in and complete just the ICF portion of the project. Others will construct foundations, interior walls, floors, decks, roofs etc.
-ICF consulting services
-ICF Waterproofing
Many ICF projects have below grade basements or retaining walls. ICFs work great in these applications, but do require special attention. Proper drainage needs to be planed for as well as an ICF friendly waterproofing system.
We are certified installers of the Epro Services ICF waterproofing system.
This system provides:
- Redundant protection
- Monolithic adhesion to ICF
- Full wall drainage
- Protection of backfill to ICF and waterproofing layer
